A bit about us.........
Vocal Reflections are a fun rock, pop and soul community choir based in Great Leighs, near Chelmsford in Essex.
We love singing together and love to share our music with the community at festivals, fund raisers and just about anywhere to anyone who cares to listen and sing along!
Our choice of music is varied! From Elvis to Ed Sheeran, The Beatles to Coldplay, and anything in between!
We don't feel the need to read music so, whatever your age - 18 or 118, come and spend a couple of hours a week with some good friends and share in some great singing!
If you like to sing when you're out walking the dog, or doing the ironing, sitting in a traffic jam, you will be very welcome to come and join us !
Our rehearsals are informal and there's always time for a chat, a nice cuppa and the occasional (actually, quite regular) slice of cake!
New members are always welcome to come along on a Wednesday evening (most weeks throughout the year) for a free taster session - no auditions!
If travel is an issue for you, lifts can often be arranged if you need it.

2026 is a very special year for Vocal Reflections as we celebrate our 15th anniversary!
The evening will be in aid of Farleigh Hospice, so we are having an evening of music, singing and dancing with some of our favourite music from the 50s to today!
We will be joined by our wonderful friends from Braintree u3a Ukulele Group and Strings Attached guitar and ukulele band from Maldon.
Not only will there be great music, but there will be tea and cakes, a raffle, a table quiz (just for fun!)
Come along and join us, we'd love to see you there!
Tickets need to be reserved in advance and can be collected at the door on the night.

We will be singing at Bocking Windmill, Church Street, CM7 5LQ
A great chance to visit such a lovely historic location, so come along and enjoy some good music as well as a bit of local history!

"Round the Kitchen Table" is an offshoot of Vocal Reflections, formed during lockdown, when we would meet outside and sing while we walked! When we were able to, we met at a friend's house where we would sit at her kitchen table and sing!
Their debut performance was at the open mic run by John White at The Castle, Great Leighs, on Monday 8th April 2024
